Welcome to the LA BIANCA SPIAGGIA holiday complex, an exclusive structure built by the sea which overlooks the entire coast of Tropea. Lush green vegetation and a colourful garden with both Mediterranean flora and exotic flora from tropical countries surround the complex . The white sand in the bay contrasts against the clear blue sea with its magnificent seabed and abundance of marine fauna. The Aeolian islands stand out on the horizon, and the sight of Stromboli with its wisp of smoke can be admired every day. The natural beauty which surrounds it, and the comfort of its furnishings make the LA BIANCA SPIAGGIA complex a unique place for a peaceful holiday by the sea.
 
The Holiday Complex  
The complex consists of 24 self-contained villas surrounded by a typical Mediterranean garden with an exotic touch.

Here you can see many sage bushes, tall banana- trees, colourful bougainvillaea and delicate jasmine.
The complex overlooks the entire coast of Tropea and a unique panoramic view can be admired: the Aeolian islands right in front, and the headland of Tropea with its ancient monastery on the left.
The complex is set back from the road, ensuring peace and quiet inside.

The LA BIANCA SPIAGGIA complex is an exclusive structure designed for those who wish to spend a wonderful holiday together with their family.
 
The villas all have satellite television, a washing-machine, an electronic safe with combination, air-conditioning and can sleep five: a double bedroom, a bedroom with bunk beds, a bathroom with shower and hairdryer, a lounge with sofa bed and equipped cooking area, and a veranda. They are also supplied with bed-linen, bath-towels, tea-towels and beach towels, with a twice-weekly change.
The small play area and the gazebo are ideal places to socialise and make friends.
   

 

The complex has its own private sandy white beach which is equipped with sun loungers, deckchairs, beach umbrellas, windsurfing and canoes, and is constantly supervised by qualified lifeguards.

The crystal-clear blue sea will tempt you for a long invigorating swim.
The magnificent seabed with its abundance of marine fauna is a real paradise for those who love scuba diving.

The AQUAPARK of Zambrone is situated between the complex and the beach. It is open from the 24th of June to the 10th of September, and admission is free for all our guests.
The AQUAPARK of Zambrone is one of the biggest and most well known waterparks in the south of Italy.
   

The many attractions in the park are all safe and great fun: the Kamikaze is only for the bravest, and the two waterslides and six chutes of the Sliding Hill are full of bends and irresistible hills. The wave pool artificially recreates sea waves and can be enjoyed even more by using one of our giant rubber rings. The large Hawaiian Lagoon is the ideal place to relax and also contains water massage and a choreographed waterfall.

   
 A slow river of one kilometre winds its way out of the lagoon and crosses the whole park.There is a special area for the youngest children with soft, colourful and safe games.

 
All the AQUAPARK'S attractions offer fun and excitement both for adults and children.
Inside the park there is a newsagent's, bar, sandwich shop, pizzeria and self-service restaurant.
   
A new attraction, unique in Italy is the latest addition to the AQUAPARK in Zambrone: The Flow Rider.

If you have always dreamed of surfing on the Pacific Ocean, try this incredible water game, designed especially for those with a sense of adventure who love to get their adrenalin flowing.
 
Surroundings
The charming Bay of Zambrone is part of the larger province of Vibo Valentia, whose historical and cultural wealth offers many pleasant surprises for its visitors. This artistic and archaeological heritage combines perfectly with the natural beauty of its places, and together make trips to Tropea, Capo Vaticano, Pizzo or Serra San Bruno worth a visit.
Excursions are also organized to other beautiful places like Reggio Calabria to see the famous Bronze Statues of Riace, the Aeolian Islands and Taormina.
   
TROPEA
 

Tropea is situated on a headland with a sheer drop to the Tyrrhenian sea. The town is renowned above all for its crystal-clear sea and white sandy beaches. However Tropea also has an elegant historic centre with buildings from the 1600s and 1700s still intact. The town is also well known for its local crafts, as an important agricultural centre, and for its vintage wines and delicious characteristic onions, "cipolla di Tropea".
   
CAPO VATICANO

Steeped in history, Capo Vaticano boasts Hercules, Aeneas and Ulysses among its visitors. These mythical sailors loved to stop here and ask for advice from the prophet before trying to cross the Straits of Messina, feared for their monsters and mermaids. And this in fact is the explanation of its name, which means "place of prophecy".
You can see some of the most beautiful scenery in the world here. Capo Vaticano is situated between the gulfs of Gioia Tauro and Sant'Eufemia and you can admire the Aeolian islands on the horizon from here, particularly Stromboli with its wisp of smoke.
   
PIZZO

Faith and legend, history and folklore are the well-known characteristics of Pizzo. These can be seen in its houses which slope gently down towards the sea from its headland, its distinctive medieval streets and its majestic castle, built by Ferdinand I of Aragon in 1486. In 1815 Gioacchino Murat was shot in the castle, after trying to free the south of Italy from the rule of the Bourbons. From the beach of Piedigrotta you can admire the splendid little church which was dug out of the rock of a natural cave, and built by a group of sailors to thank the Madonna after they survived a shipwreck.
And last of all don't forget to try Pizzo's famous "tartufo" ice-cream!
   
SERRA S. BRUNO

The name of this locality is linked to the Carthusian monastery, founded by Saint Brunone in 1081.
From a distance the monastery looks like a small fortified city. This should not come as a surprise because the walls are needed to protect the privacy and voluntary isolation of the monks from outside attention. Inside, the monastery is full of precious wooden treasures and delicate frescoes. A museum fully documents the nine centuries of history of the Order.
Not far from the monastery there is the church of "Saint Maria del Bosco", the Grotto of Saint Bruno and the Lake of Miracles. These are considered to be an additional record of the life of the Saint, due to their strong mystic aura.

For holidays longer than a week the following reductions may be applied: 2 weeks 10%, 3 weeks 15%, 4 weeks 20%.
Price include: overnight stay, membership card for admittance to the AQUAPARK of Zambrone from day of arrival to day of departure (open from the 24th of June to the 10th of September), twice-weekly change of bed-linen, bath-towels, tea-towels and beach towels, beach service with beach umbrellas, sun lounger and 2 deckchairs, V.A.T..

How to Arrive
The complex LA BIANCA SPIAGGIA is located in Zambrone Mare, on the Tyrrhenian coast in Calabria, 10 kilometres from Tropea.

 
BY TRAIN
Zambrone train station is 300 metres from the complex. There is a free bus service from the station to the complex on request.
 
BY CAR
Motorway: A3 Salerno-Reggio C., from the north exit at Pizzo and from the south exit at S. Onofrio – Vibo Valentia. Then take the state road 522 for Tropea.
 
BY AIR
Lamezia Terme (CZ) Airport is 50 kilometres from the complex and Reggio Calabria Airport 130 kilometres away. Transportation from the airports is available on request. The cost is Euro 50 from Lamezia Airport, and Euro 75 from Reggio Calabria Airport.
