6. Holzkirchen  
Holzkirchen is situated in the northern part of the region, thus making it very convenient as a step ping-off point to Munich and other attractive areas. 9. Miesbach

10. Otterfing  
Situated between Munich and the mountains, on both the S-Bahn and BOB railway lines, Otterfing is a veritable door to the rest of the region. Not only a convenient launching point for excursions, the village is also home to trades and shops that leave nothing to be desired.
