| There can be few better locations for horse riding than La Cala Resort. Its privileged position at the foot of the Mijas Mountains means that it has long been a favourite destination for organised treks on horseback. In fact horses play a very important role in traditional Spanish society and it is still a regular occurrence to see horses and carts, as well as individual or groups of riders on the country roads. | |
