The Bregenz
Festival: Every two years a
new opera is staged on the impressive floating stage at
Bregenz. In 2007 Giacomo Puccini’s
masterpiece Tosca will
be performed. Romantic love, jealously and betrayal are the opera’s driving
forces.
The Bregenz Festival runs from 19 July, 2007 to
19 August, 2007. |

Lindau
Casino: The new
Lindau Casino is an architectural jewel situated
directly on the lake shore. We wish you lots of luck and are sure that the
view over the lake and onto the Austrian shore will leave you feeling lucky. |

Lindau’s
old town: The good old days –
these are still very much in evidence in Lindau.
There is much to discover in the historical old town’s streets and squares.
Romantic little lanes and dreamy courtyards give you a wonderful insight
into a lovely old town which is still young at heart. |

Kunsthaus
Bregenz:
The architecture of the art museum is already world famous thanks to its
architect Peter Zumthor. Situated next to the
Voralberg state museum and theatre, the new
building, with its multifaceted glass façade, stands out boldly in the
middle of the town, along the shoreline of Lake Constance. Visitors will be
enticed by the changing exhibitions of modern and contemporary art of
international renown. |

Lindau
Marionette Theatre: The small
opera house in the Lindau town theatre lost its
insider’s tip status a long time ago. For several years, the
Lindau Marionette Opera has been entrancing
visitors from near and far with its virtuoso puppet theatre. Its repertoire
includes such operatic greats as The
Magic Flute, Carmen and The Barber of
Seville. |
