| Feel free to use Herrenhouse's large private beach at lake Weissensee (15 km remote >from the Herrenhaus). Either you love sunshine or shady spots - there is always a cosy place for everyone. Sun umbrellas and deck-chairs are available in sufficient quantity to our guests. Tjey can store their bathing utensils or use the locker-room on the beach's log cabin (with toilette). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Once in a while, people like to use the barbeque-site, while children are romping about to their hearts' content, building sand castles or splashing about in the kids' water-site. Lake Weissensee, embedded in the heart of the Gailtaler alps, has drinking quality. The high mineral content makes a dip an absolute pleasure. The lake has a particular and unmistakeable appearance. |

| once a dragon was ravaging in ..the canyon 'Ochsenschlucht' and in the gorge 'Ziegenklamm' between the villages Dellach and Berg. The legend says that in the old ancient times the cruel knight Bibernell of castle 'Stein'was sounding the mort for the dragon, but in vain. The beast always succeeded to escape. It was told that the dragon not only devoured oxen and goats, but also young farmers' daughters. However, since tourists with smoking monster-vehicles came up the mountains nearby the canyons, the dragon moved to another place. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
