| General We are delighted to welcome this property back to the fold after an absence of 10 years. A small lakeside house, it has a truly wonderful setting with the nearby town of Ossuccio to our left and the tiny island of Isola Comacina dead ahead. And all framed by dramatic high mountains. |

| The house is divided into two: the upper floor is occupied by the owner and the lower floors are for our guests, who can also explore this section of Lake Como at will with the unlimited free use of the owner’s rowing boat. | |

Location The town of Ossuccio, where there are shops, banks and chemists, is within walking distance, though this is along a main road. A more tranquil walk is to the village of Sala Comacina 300 metres away, along scenic lakeside paths. The beach that fronts the house is for public use, as are all beaches in Italy. |

Layout Roadside parking. Double iron gates access a short driveway and steps down to the front door. Entrance into a spacious sitting/dining room with large panoramic windows, sliding doors and a stunning lake view. Sofa-bed. Partition behind which a kitchen corner with double sink unit, 4 gas ring hob and small fridge. Steps to a covered furnished terrace with wonderful views for al fresco lakeside dining. Behind the terrace, spiral stairs to laundry room. Behind kitchen corner, two narrow staircases: one down to a small bathroom with half-bath, WC etc., the other staircase down to a double/twin bedded room with lake views and wardrobe space. Access to boathouse and beach. |
